Wilfred "Willie" Jacobs

Willie Jacobs, age 60, of Brainerd, Minnesota passed away in his residence October 17, 2016.  He was born June 29, 1956 in Cass Lake, Minnesota the son of George and Louella.  Willie married Donna Heinonen in 1986.  Willie and Donna loved each other through the good times and bad, Willie is in the arms of the Lord wearing wings of gold.  As our hearts break with hurt and pain we are comforted that he is at peace.  His family meant the world to him, and they and his friends will miss his loving touch.         Surviving are his wife, Donna Jacobs, and his three children: Jessica Jacobs-Gordon, Corrina Jacobs, and Kyle (Angela) Jacobs.  14 grandchildren: Emily, Kyle, AbbyGayle, Isabella, Gabriella, Sophia, Allen, Ethan, Peyton, Madison, Lyman, Will, Laverne, and Morgan.          Willie will forever soar with friends in heaven until we see him again, he will forever be missed.         Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday, October 23, 2016 at the Jones-Pearson Funeral Home in Park Rapids, MN. Visitation will be held for two hours prior to the service, beginning at 12 noon. A light lunch will follow the service.
