AMANDA GRACE HAGEN August 22, 1983 – January 25, 2018    Amanda Grace Hagen, age 34 of Park Rapids, MN passed away at her home on Thursday, January 25, 2018.    Amanda was born on August 22, 1983 in Bemidji, MN to Terry and Debra (Johnson) Hagen. Amanda was confirmed at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Lake George, MN and graduated from the Park Rapids High School with the Class of 2001. Amanda was known for her kind empathetic spirit, her infectious laugh, her willingness to help and her sentimental nature and her love of books. She lived her life always with a sparkle! Her pride and joy was her beloved son, Kody.    She is survived by her mother, Deb Hagen of Park Rapids and her father, Terry (Sandy) Hagen of Bemidji, MN; her son, Kody Mead of Park Rapids; sister, Amber (Chris) Thomas and their daughter, Josephine Bernadette Thomas. maternal grandmother, Karen (Vigesaa) Johnson of Clearbrook, MN and paternal grandparents, Lowell and Betty (Pugh) Hagen of Bagley; three aunts: Amy Jo Johnson of Mpls, Cheri (Kurt) Yennie of Bagley and Mary (Wayne) Davis of Bemidji; special friends: Sara Nelson and Kyle Larson of Park Rapids; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.    Amanda was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Gene (Poppa J) Johnson and special uncle, Nate Johnson.       Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Thursday, Feb. l, 2018 at the Jones-Pearson Funeral Home in Park Rapids. Visitation will begin one hour prior and a luncheon will follow the service. Interment will be made in the Johnson family plot located at the Elim Lutheran Brethren Church Cemetery in Clearbrook, MN following the luncheon.
