Agnes L. “Aggie” Milton March 29th, 1925 - May 28th, 2018 Agnes L. “Aggie” Milton, age 93, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away Monday, May 28th in Fargo, ND. Aggie was born on March 29th, 1925 to Charles M. and Kathryn F. (Kemper) Griffin in Crystal, MN, the youngest of 5 children. As a young woman, Aggie worked for Twin City Ordinance and Honeywell in Minneapolis. On June 9th, 1951, Aggie was united in marriage to Philip G. Milton and they made their home in Robbinsdale, MN. Their marriage was blessed with three daughters: Judy, Sue, and Kim. She worked for Robbinsdale District 281 Schools as a cook. In 1976, Phil and Aggie moved to the home they built on Boulder Lake near Dorset, MN and Aggie worked for the Dorset Cafe and Chateau Paulette. In 1987 they moved to Nevis. Aggie was an active member of the Mantrap Conservation Club and the Hospital Auxiliary, and she also worked for the Nevis School as a cook. Aggie had a generous, giving nature, a quick sense of humor and she loved reading, card games, Scrabble, and Bingo. She was an avid fan of the Minnesota Twins, NDSU Bison Football, The Minnesota Vikings and The Philadelphia Eagles. Above all, Aggie devoted her life to her husband, daughters, and grandchildren. Aggie will be lovingly remembered by her three daughters, Judy (Jef) Hoeder of Plymouth, MN, Sue (Nathan) Brinkmeyer of Bowman, ND, and Kim Greenwood of Menahga, MN; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; her sister, Dawn (Del) Holmin of Maple Grove, MN; numerous nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. Aggie was preceded in death by her husband Phil, her parents, and brothers Jim, Bob, and Tom. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, June 2nd at the Jones-Pearson Funeral Home with Timothy Pearson officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the services on Saturday. Casketbearers will be: Patty Thompson, Tim Hoeder, Mike Hoeder, Daniel Stout, Bob Kocur, Amanda Harper, Chelsea Blake, Eddy Kubus, and Aaron Greenwood. Honorary casketbearers will be Cora Pruim, Tyler Brinkmeyer, Alysha Brinkmeyer, Olivia Stout, Tony Vaydich, Destiny Pruim, Bailey Vaydich, Peyton Harper, Emily Stout, Jaylen Marshall, Jack Pruim, Lisa Kubus, Kaiden Marshall, Harlow Stout, and Vanessa Kubus. Following the service a lunch will be provided for all to attend. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Nevis.
